Pharaoh is a title that was given to the ruler of Egypt in ancient times, but the one I will talk about in this regard is (Ramses II), the Pharaoh of Egypt in the era of the Prophet Moses, peace be upon him.
Called Ramses the Elder, he was the third pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty.
He is considered one of the most famous and powerful pharaohs, and he was called the great-grandfather. Ramses led many military campaigns heading to the Levant. He restored Egyptian control over the land of Canaan, in addition to his campaigns towards the south.
